Roots, Rock, Reggae: Live at the Hammersmith Oden is a stunning, previously unreleased live album from Bob Marley, recorded over several nights during the Wailers’ residency at London's prestigious Hammersmith Odeon in June 1976, during their Rastaman Vibration tour. Booking the venue was an audacious move, but Bob had newfound stardom from the U.K. chart success of “No Woman, No Cry,” and an ecstatic crowd packed the place. Highlights include a transcendent title song, a rarely performed “Bend Down Low,” an extended version of “Crazy Baldhead,” and a 30-minute encore that incorporates a 12-minute “Get Up, Stand Up.” New liner notes by Marley associate Don Letts bring an eyewitness account to the experience.

During the pandemic I put together a short set of Music for the IBMA with Phoebe Hunt and Mimi Naja highlighting songs by women. This was an informal example of something I’ve been dreaming of turning into a full length LP. In March 2025 I saw my vision turn into a reality. I co-produced a record with Shani Gandhi of songs that have made their way into the bluegrass canon, and were written by women. Some of these songs I sang for many years before realizing they were penned by a wife/mother/female artist. As a woman, it’s easy to feel like an outsider, or like you don’t belong, in a genre where there is a noticeable lack of representation of women among the forebears. To know that women’s voices made it into the traditional songs feels like a quiet win, and I want to draw more attention to it. Just like having pickers like Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hull out there showing little girls that there is a place for them now in bluegrass, *I want to show where there always has been.* That women’s words and voices made it in there even in the early days. I also feel primed to do this now as a follow up to Queen of Time, which honored my own maternal lineage, namely the spirit my grandmother left with me.

“You can’t avoid grief and pain and death,” says guitarist/vocalist Isaac Horn. “Our attempts to avoid those things just rob us of the opportunity to enjoy being alive. We end up missing out on all the hope and love and joy that’s right in front of us.”

Make It Out Alive, The Arcadian Wild’s fourth and most enthralling album yet, is a celebration of all that hope and love and joy. Recorded in Nashville with producer/mixer Micah Tawlks (Judah & The Lion, The Brook & The Bluff), the collection transforms the ache of loss into a stunning work of resilience and gratitude, one rooted in a profound appreciation for the fragile humanity that binds us all in this life and beyond. The songs here are more collaborative than ever before, with fiddler/vocalist Bailey Warren, mandolinist/vocalist Lincoln Mick, and Horn co-writing together for the first time, and the recordings are lush and expansive, stepping beyond the limitations of live performance to craft an immersive, densely layered soundscape that blurs the lines between folk, country, bluegrass, choral, and pop music. Kiss / Destroys Anaheim '76 (2LP) Commemorating the 50th anniversary of one of the most seminal concerts in KISStory - on August 20, 1976, Kiss performed in front of their largest audience to date - 42, 000+ fans - at Anaheim Stadium. Originally recorded by Eddie Kramer on that KISStoric night, Eddie has newly mixed this concert from the original multi-track tapes! The 60+ min concert is pressed on 180-gram 2-LP black vinyl and includes an insert featuring liner note highlights from the Deluxe version, unreleased photos & memorabilia imagery.

Newly remastered by longtime Seger mastering engineer Robert Vosgien, the Expanded Edition includes the hit singles "Wait for Me" and "Wreck This Heart." Among the album's highlights is "The Answer's In The Question," Seger's duet with Patty Loveless. In 2023, Seger helped induct Loveless into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

"There are two versions of this album," says Hollow Hand's Max Kinghorn-Mills. "But there's only one that exists."

Kinghorn-Mills is reflecting on a period when he was at something of a crossroads. He had written songs for his forthcoming fourth album, but after coming back off tour, something needed to change. “When I listened back to where I’d left the album, it wasn't exciting enough for me,” he says. “I was like: that's not really what I want to do anymore.”

Since releasing 2023’s Your Own Adventure – which drew acclaim from the likes of Mojo, Uncut, and Shindig! – he found himself touring and collaborating with a variety of other artists. Hollow Hand became the house band for Caitlin Rose on tour, while Kinghorn-Mills was also collaborating with Aoife Nessa Frances and playing in her touring band. There was countless exposure to incredible Irish bands along the way, and then came a sold-out European tour with Hollow Hand supporting MJ Lenderman. When Kinghorn-Mills came back he was bursting with a newfound creative zeal. “Seeing all these different types of bands play, it just made me reflect,” he says. “It makes you step up your game and it creates a feeling that you want to do better. I don't want to ever feel like I'm going through the motions so I decided to start again.”

Hollow Hand has always been a vehicle for Kinghorn-Mills’ songs, and it remains so, but having felt the spark and connectivity of being around more bands, he decided to change tack. “The way I've made albums previously has usually been huddled away in the tradition of a bedroom producer,” says Kinghorn-Mills. “But with this one I expanded my horizons and it made me realise there's so much more to playing, and being in a band, than just recording the songs.”

Along with Oliver Newton (drums) and Leo Clarke (bass) they got together in their new studio space in Brighton and tracked the songs live as a band. “With three of us being involved from the beginning, and all invested in it together, it feels like a group effort, which is a new thing for us,” Kinghorn-Mills says. “Our studio became really important as a creative space and, while it’s not Abbey Road, we were really able to up the production value.”

The result is a record in which you can feel the fun coursing through it, as the zest of a reconfigured and tightly-knit group of musicians burns as brightly as the beautifully melodic and unique songs that they’ve carved out. “It feels closer to the goal of sounding like a band playing live than anything else I've made before,” says Kinghorn-Mills. “I guess I needed that difficult time to find myself because I feel completely rejuvenated after making this record.”

The Mars Volta announces their latest album, Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business, which marks their first official live release since 2005’s Scabdates.

Far from a straightforward live performance of their most recent studio album, Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacío, this new release is a deep reinterpretation of the source material with an added twist: the band’s invitation for fans to participate in the album-making process.

The project began with a cryptic countdown timer on The Mars Volta’s official website, which revealed an interactive voting mechanism allowing fans to choose which live performances would make the cut. Each track was represented by a cryptic symbol corresponding to the city where the performance was recorded during the band’s acclaimed fall 2025 tour.

Before setting to work on her 4th album "I Am Both", the New York-based singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy assembled a selection of songs that span from fictional vignettes to unguarded self-revelation to empathetic observation of the troubled world around her. Sweeping Promises brought live drummer Spenser Gralla into the recording sessions to give the songs a similar urgency to their live show. The frenzy of it's execution also materializes in Mondal's vocal performances.A shadow side exists along with Sweeping Promises' love of their artistic community-borne of weirdos channeling their "outcast" status into vibrant art and punk rock music. You Say I Romanticize takes the ethos Mondal and Schnug have developed and explores the obsessive, fanatical aspects of being ostracized and isolated by mainstream society.
